BoA debuts in America

BoA – Eat You Up [Preview]

Korean Japanese popstar, BoA, is attempting to break into the US music scene Akon-style (I can only assume that synthesizing her vocals is an attempt to mask her horrificly fobby English). And that blip of a song only serves as a harbinger for a disasterous career. In truth, she failed before she even begun.

Sidenote: Why does she keep insisting her name be spelled: Capital B-Lowercase O-Capital A? Maybe she and Bank of America can work out an endorsement.

  2. I am not sure if you meant any sarcasm with her nationality, but she’s a pure Korean.

BoA = Beat of Asia. At least that’s how it was supposed to mean in early days. Ya, Bank or America should so work out an endorsement with her lol.

  3. Haha, I guess it’s now going to be Beat of America. :P

  4. Boa is korean, it’s just that she debuted in Japan too.

  5. Her name is suppose to be spelled all separately as in “Kwon Bo Ah” so they kinda combined her name as “BoA” for her stage name… It had always been that way.

Oh and I think she’s still consider as a Korean Popstar, she’s one of the most respected Korean singer in Korea… And she’s only 22, wtf?!
