Adobe LF Lens

Adobe, the company that has brought us the finest imaging software, has long known that there is simply one thing that their Photoshop cannot help with in correcting our photos: whether they are in focus or not.

Focus is determined out in the field and those who fail to get it right, are punished with a set of photos that are just plain rubbish. With Adobe’s Light-field prototype lens, you can reconstruct reality with a three dimensional image allowing you to select your desired focus in your studio making focus rings and autofocus functions obsolete.

The major problem now, is that because it uses nineteen lenses, it divides the use of your sensor making your 10 megapixel camera into a .52 megapixel shooter.
