Everyone’s Invited to the Picnik

When I take photos, I have a habit of just letting the mirror clap incessantly. It’s best not to miss a moment. But when I get back to my computer, I have to sort everything out. And the ones that are deemed to be decent, go under the knife. With just simple applications such as iPhoto or Picasa, you can have your work deceive others to think you’re actually much better with a camera than you truly are. But even the professionals go through post-prodcution but with much more advanced software.

But if you are just a simpleton photographer and can not be bothered to download anything, there is hope for you yet. Picnik is a website application that works in conjunction with Flickr to edit your photos. But, if you don’t use Flickr, you can directly upload photos to work with. So if you want to crop your photos or remove red-eyes from your subjects, it’s now more than easy to do so.

(I discovered something cool just now. Click on the word “picnik” in the upper left corner when you’re editing and it’ll go full screen.)
