Exploration in Form

This here is my first project in my 3-D concepts class. We take a square foot of aluminum, sand it down and proceed to cut it in two. The we either fold or roll each of the pieces and fit the pieces together. The use of spray paint is optional though it does help in contrasting the pieces.

My paper models I had made were a bit too ambitious and much harder to translate into metal than what I had thought. So I ended up having to submit a piece that is much less impressive.

I love spray paint. But I can’t do graffiti for sh*t.
