Gregg Segal

I discovered Gregg Segal‘s work at Arclight Cinemas down in Los Angeles. The collection that was featured was depicting our childhood superheroes as normal folk. I found it all rather humorous seeing Superman with his Dirt Devil and Spiderman hanging up the wash.

Gregg Segal started his photography career at the age of eleven. He photographed trash. To this day he believes his duty is to document the mundane and overlooked, but especially when it comes to people. He majored in Photography at the Interlochen Art Academy before moving on to getting his BFA at the California Institute of the Arts.

More artwork after the jump.
