The MacBook introduced MagSafe, an innovative mechanism that fastens the power cable to the computer by means of a magnet. Replug has been inspired to make this feature available for another application: the audio jack.
A friend of mine dropped his laptop when he was wearing a wired headset and stepped a bit too far from his desk. I guess this would have made sense to have at the time.
It will available in both black and white to match MacBooks and iPods. The price has yet to be announced but if it can protect an investment such as a laptop, shuffling out a couple bucks seems quite reasonable.
Don’t hold me to this but I think this might just work with the iPhone’s recessed jack.
